Leonard Bianchi Scholarship Fund
|
On December 18th, 2006 the Bianchi family lost its patriarch, Leonard Bianchi. During his lifetime, Leonard played an active role in the lives of countless youth through his role as a livestock judge, sheep producer and mentor. The positive impact of Leonard's efforts can be seen in many of today's agriculture education programs, teachers, 4H leaders, judges, universities, and fellow sheep producers.
In memory of Mr. Leonard Bianchi a scholarship fund has been created to continue his tradition of helping today's youth. The Leonard Bianchi scholarship will have the goal of aiding students graduating high school continue their education in production agriculture.
The future of agriculture for America depends on the continuation of the success found during the last century. Through applied research, American ingenuity and hard work, America has led the world in efficient food production. Leonard Bianchi believed in supporting programs like Future Farmers of America and 4H, and continuing that education through a college education, enabling our countries future through investing in today's youth.
